American Journalist Sydney J. Harris once said " The purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows". This quote fuels my educational philosophy which aims to push further than merely disseminating information to students; it aims to help students construct new perspectives, and broaden their understanding of the world. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from Winston-Salem State University, a Master's Degree in Secondary Science Education from North Carolina A & T University, an Educational Specialist Degree in Ed. Leadership from Arkansas State University, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern Mississippi. I have been honored to serve communities in the capacity of classroom teacher, assistant principal, and principal in the states of North Carolina, Oregon, Arizona, and New Mexico.
