Mary Elizabeth has enjoyed teaching at incredible schools across the United States and Internationally for the past 27 years.  She earned her BA in Biology, MS in Education, ALM in Sustainability. Her focus has been on inspiring students to care deeply about the natural world around them through the many facets of education, including awareness and understanding of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.  Life balance is also incredibly important to her as an educator and something she strives to help students achieve.  Born in New Mexico, she is thrilled to return to this beautiful state and be a part of the Taos Academy team.
