I love teaching and learning. I moved from Colorado Springs to Taos in 2009 and started teaching at Taos Academy in 2012.  I enjoy riding my horses in the mountains of this beautiful state. My education includes the following:   BS Secondary Education Social Studies, MA Organizational Management, MA Library Media and Technology. I earned an Early Childhood Through Young Adulthood National Board Certification in Library Media and have been a facilitator of National Board Certification Support Classes for teachers. 

As a teacher, I have a passion to continue to impact the lives of our students in positive ways with a focus on continuous improvement and collaborative leadership.
